Renewal of Three Mill Levy In Ridgeville Township
Ridgeville Board of Education announced a renewal request for the three mill levy for the Rural School District at the November election. The board notes the levy is not a tax increase, relies on a 10 year history, and warns that with the 10 mill limit starting January 1 operation may be difficult without legislative relief. If approved this fall the district could stay open until March 1, but continued operation after that date hinges on quick legislative action. Board members express hope Ridgeville residents will vote to maintain the levy.
