North Ridgeville to switch to direct-dial city phone system
Robin Gedeon, longtime city hall receptionist, handles about 150 daily inquiries on water bills taxes and building matters and awaits a October rollout of Alltel direct-dial Centrex. The 35 direct lines connect city hall Parks and Recreation and Office for Older Adults with features like call forwarding and speed dialing. The system costs about the same 1400 dollars monthly as the old setup and aims to reduce busy signals.
