Lorain police arrest shooting suspect after dog track
A police dog named Titan helped detectives locate Alexis Ayala-Cotto, 29, of Sheffield Lake, hiding under a truck Monday. He was arrested and charged with felonious assault obstructing official business resisting arrest tampering with evidence receiving stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon. Victims Jonathan Sanchez 27 Amherst and Javier Castillo 40 Lorain were hospitalized and Castillo remained in fair condition. Ayala-Cotto Sanchez has been released.
