Prisoner William Donofrio, 23, escaped during recreation at the Lorain Medina Community Based Correctional Facility near the Lorain County Jail in Elyria. Staff saw him run away at about 7 p.m. Sunday. he had been serving a 2013 robbery conviction and was among 80 inmates at the facility.
