Feds sell more than 100 lighthouses since 2000
Federal agencies have sold or given away over one hundred lighthouses in the past 14 years under the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act. Most transfers go to preservationists or private buyers, with 68 free transfers and 36 sales, while another 71 are queued for processing.
