Five Wenonahs Boys Plan Long 1919 Buick Trip to Pacific Coast
Five youths from Wenonah New Jersey plan a long journey in a 1919 Buick touring car to the Pacific Coast. After two days of driving they visited Buick plants in Flint Michigan and were welcomed by C. W. Churchill. The group includes Albert Green Jack Zenwsy Eddie Nelson Charles Frederick and Jack Warren. They believe the car will safely carry them west and back for the fall term. The Buick has logged 119000 miles prior to the trip and has faced steep Allegheny grades with no need to downshift from high gear. George E Frederick their father is the local Buick dealer who lent the car after it passed through several trades. Borowlaski the Polish dwarf who lived to 98 is also noted in the clipping.
