Navion may build plant at Lorain County Airport
Navion Aircraft LCC of Bowling Green eyes Lorain County Regional Airport for a 50,000 square foot aircraft plant and 15,000 to 20,000 square feet of hangar space to support a production and service center. The project could create about 100 manufacturing jobs in three years and up to 200 related positions, with Navion planning to subcontract from local parts makers. Negotiations with county and state officials continue, with a decision expected in about two months.
