Capsule capstone at 2026 Ohio State Fair Capsule
Fairgoers near two million mark as the 12 day Ohio State Fair winds down. A Bicentennial time capsule will be sealed inside the fairgrounds with items such as a football autographed by Ohio State, a Cincinnati Reds baseball, fair tickets and a Bicentennial coin set. Governor Rhodes notes the fairgrounds will change by 2026 but the atmosphere may stay the same. Florist Thomas Boyd tends deeply to the flower beds grown from bulbs and seeds, with help from a temporary greenhouse and local youths.
