Three minor automobile accidents were reported to police yesterday. Clarence Dumas of Earl Court and Ray Baker of 199 High Street collided on Broad Street near Robson Court. John Demirjian of 137 Harvard Avenue struck a parked car owned by Carl Plocker of 340 Fourth Street on Fourth Street while avoiding another car. Clement Henke of 497 Kenyon Avenue reported damage to his car backed into by a Held Transfer truck on Lodi Street at West Avenue yesterday afternoon.

Rocky River Woman Killed In Accident
Mrs. Helen Heil, 27, of Rocky River Ohio was killed when her automobile was struck by a Cincinnati and Lake Erie traction car near Bowling Green late last night. Bids Placed On City Water Main and Storage Tank
Bids from 16 firms for the city water main project and three for a 1,000,000 gallon storage tank were tabulated. The Cc. F. Lyttle Company of Louis City Iowa appears lowest on the steel main bid and The Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Company of Pittsburgh tops the storage tank bids at $84,459. Other low bids include C. F. Lyttle at $124,403 and Cleveland firms Kassouf and Lowenshon at $142,685 and $142,810 respectively for steel pipes. Cast iron pipe low is Fornaro Lombardo of Cleveland at $177,936. Awards will follow PWA rules with work starting soon and 200 men to be placed through the National Reemployment Office. The new steel pipe will be enamel coated to resist rust and corrosion and will be thicker than the current main.

35 Children At Clinic Here Today
The semi monthly crippled children's clinic at Gates Hospital saw 35 children from several counties for examination and treatment today. The youngest patient was a six month old girl with a defective hip. Examinations were by Dr. C. H. Heyman of Cleveland and Dr. F. A. Lawrence of Fly Tra. Officials expect a larger clinic in two weeks as the school year settles in.

Violence Flare in Hotel Strike in Cleveland
Violence erupted during the Hotel Staller strike in Cleveland. Detective William Gnenhs was struck while police escorted a truck to an alley behind the hotel. The body of a man about 49, tentatively identified as Adam Ostermier, was found floating in the Maumee River. Coroner William Shapiro identified him using letters found in a packet. Twenty passengers were landed at Charleston by the United Fruit steamer Atenas after the Dixie liner ran aground on French Reef. Marine engineers in Miami, inspecting the ship valued at 38.5 million dollars, said it probably could be saved and floated to deep water. Two special trains carried 291 passengers and 54 crew members to New York. A. S.
