A lone robber held up Citi zen's Budget Company on Second street before noon, stealing $107 from the cash drawer after forcing employees including treasurer L. A. DeLford and Miss Nellie Hawkins into the rear room. Tom Paonessa pursued the suspect as he fled through Peck's garage. police searched the area but found no trace. The suspect had previously shown interest by asking to change a 20 and arranging a supposed loan with A. W. Miller of Middle Avenue.

City Treasurer Salary To Be Increased In Elyria

Man At Throttle Describes Fatal Milk Train Wreck

At dawn park guards attempted to coax a deer trapped on a rocky ledge toward a narrow bridge built for its escape. A fire last night destroyed one two story two car garage on Third Sewatt street alley rear of Alsamm home in Elyria. Firemen fought for nearly an hour and saved two adjacent garages. In Monroe Michigan Victoria Grisham 45 of Cleveland Ohio was killed eight miles from town when struck by a vehicle while crossing a highway after alighting from an auto.
