At the Baumhart Road and U S 20 intersection in Camden Township a Compton Asphalt truck sideswiped a Chevrolet Cruze and then hit a Ford pickup. Daniel Thompkins suffered a lacerated spleen and was airlifted to MetroHealth. Rose Urig and Johnie Compton sustained non life threatening injuries. The scene closed briefly for responders.

Father and son held after Lorain drug raid
Lorain police and SWAT arrested Dameon Robertson and his father Terry Johnson at 7 a.m. after a raid on two addresses. Authorities seized 12 g heroin and fentanyl, 130 g cocaine, 134 g marijuana, 158 Xanax doses, 136 oxycodone doses, four handguns including a stolen piece, an AR-15 rifle, a 2007 Dodge Nitro, and $9,000 cash valued at about $49,100.
