Fitzgerald plans return of questionable campaign donation
Ohio Democrat Ed FitzGerald said he will return a $1,000 donation from investment banker J W Sean Dorsey after Dorsey’s June appointment to a county board. The donation, made in April, drew ethics scrutiny under a 2011 county policy. Dorsey said he was unaware of the rule and was told the money would be returned.
