North Olmsted revival of senior housing project
Mayor Norman Musial announced construction will begin within three months on Castle Pines North Olmsted the citys first senior housing complex on Lorain Road near St Clarence Church. The plan includes 153 independent living apartments 50 assisted living units and a 50 bed skilled nursing facility with potential for 26 more beds in future. Officials say wait lists at nearby facilities created demand and former Mayor Ed Boyle supported the project three years ago. The 1995 approval expires, requiring new reviews by Planning Commission Architectural Board of Review and Zoning and Council before proceeding.
