Wellington Tests New Water Filtration Process
The Ohio EPA approves a pilot for Wellington to use a pressure based filtration system at the filtration plant. The pilot will treat about 240000 gallons daily at an estimated $250000 cost with a $78000 grant from the Ohio Water Development Authority. The village plans a one year trial before final EPA approval. Higher rates fund a new filtration plant as officials push for improved capacity.
