Akron teacher faces weapons charges after home search
Akron police removed about a dozen shotguns and explosives from the home of Buchtel High School science teacher Benjamin Terril after an anonymous tip about two men arguing. Terril was arrested for possessing explosives carrying a concealed weapon and drug abuse. He is held in Summit County jail on paid leave from the district. He appeared in Akron Municipal Court and was ordered to return with an attorney.
