Old papers in exhibit trace women’s fight
C aro line Bird donated an exhibit to Russell Sage College featuring century old newspapers on women’s rights along with first editions and signed poetry books. Bird, author of Born Female and Everything a Woman Needs to Know to Get Paid What She’s Worth, was 1972 73 Froman Distinguished Professor at Sage. The display includes up to date coverage of gender equality and historical quotes from Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
