John W. Moyer of Foster Ave. earned a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and served as president of Tau Beta Phi. He works for Dow Chemical Co. in California. Ruth E. Evans earned a master of science in education from Youngstown State University. Theodore J. Mahi, Elyria Catholic 1974 grad, earned a masters in architecture from Yale and joined Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in San Francisco after studying with noted architects. Mahl, a Kent State 1979 architecture graduate, won the Robert Allen Ward Memorial Scholarship and was nominated for the Skidmore Owings and Merrill Traveling Fellowship. He studied under John Hejduk and Charles Gwathney at Yale.
