Bonnar has led Geneva since 1961 after moving from Ashtabula. Theodore Case has led Chardon since 1969. Hardy joined Chardon in 1957 and rose to vice president in 1960.
Erie County commissioners postponed a quarterly meeting to await a court hearing on the Margaretta Township to Sandusky boundary change. A Nov 1 deadline aims to allow Sandusky to collect 1963 township taxes. a court case set for Sept 16 and a Dec 7 public hearing are noted.
