Heart age shows Americans at higher risk than years indicate
A CDC report estimates national heart age by state using factors like blood pressure, obesity and smoking. Nearly three in four adults have a heart older than their body, with men about eight years and women five and a half years older. Mississippi leads in advanced heart age. Utah and Colorado show lower figures.
