North Olmsted principal resigns amid sex charges
Ronald E. Reimer former Forest Elementary School principal of North Olmsted resigned after being charged with four counts of sexual imposition involving three 12 year olds. The incidents spanned June to August, two alleged at the school and two in a vehicle. Reimer, 39, faces up to 60 days in jail and fines up to 500 dollars per count if convicted on third degree misdemeanors. He resigned Aug. 27 after being informed by Superintendent Peinert following a police report by a parent. The district vowed to provide counseling and professional support to affected students.
