Maine coast closes to shellfish after red tide poisoning
Eleven tourists from Phillipston Mass suffer paralytic shellfish poisoning after a clambake. The Maine coast is closed to harvesting of all shellfish from Milbridge to Cutler as officials seek the source of contamination while lobsters and other seafood remain allowed.
