Outdoor group files protests over Gilligan park closures
The National Campers and Hikers Association in Ohio launched a protest drive against Gov. John J. Gilligan's order to close state parks after Labor Day. Officers say 10 000 members will file protests and 3000 newspaper releases sent to Ohio papers while attorneys review legal options over deed reversion clauses.
