Three Category 4 Pacific Hurricanes Circulate Near Hawaii
Over a weekend three major Pacific hurricanes Ignacio Kilo and Jimena reached Category 4, a possible meteorological first. Hawaii dodged direct hits as Ignacio weakened to 105 mph offshore while Kilo and Jimena head toward the Date Line and far from the islands.
