A 35 year old woman was stabbed behind a Taylor Street warehouse. She described the attacker as a man who ordered her to close her eyes before stabbing when he saw her blade bag. She was flown to MetroHealth in Cleveland in fair condition. Police have no suspect.
Lorain police allege Kenyon Ward Sr. choked a woman and set her clothes on a grill at his Grant Street home around 1 45 PM Monday. Ward 34 was charged with arson and domestic violence and held on a 50000 bond awaiting Lorain Municipal Court on Sept 7.
Lorain County officials say four of five members of the Lorain County Veterans Service Commission have improperly received county health insurance for decades. Insurance ends Sept. 1 with potential alternatives under review. no resolutions authorize the coverage or board compensation.

Kalo says he owes about 550,000 and must arrange payment. his Ted's Floor Coverings remains on North Ridge Road. He laments no bids and notes downtown Lorain's weak market as a reason. Kale also owes 55,000 of a Lorain Community Development Office loan portfolio.
