Amherst Appoints Two New Recreation Board Members
Amherst fills two vacancies on the Recreation Board with Mrs Er E A Hubert and others joining Elmer Reichert Charles Wolf and several listed residents. The move trims previous four vacancies following resignations and deaths. New officers include President Earl Kane and Vice President Thutt. Also noted are library staff changes and a paper drive by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. The American Legion collects flood relief items and funds, with local branches coordinating donations at the Legion Home. Final prenatal class at Amherst Hospital will address child development and a film titled Preface to Life.
