Wedding of Parfitt and Miss Parfitt at Old Stone Church
The couple and guests gathered for a 1931 Liverpool High and Baldwin Wallace College tied ceremony at Old Stone Church. George Paffi and Harry Davey attended as ushers as Joseph Koutsky sang. A reception followed at the bride’s parents home with a long list of locals. The couple planned a St Lawrence Thousand Islands trip before settling in Lucas near Mansfield. A hiccough remedy from Des Moines advised placing a paper bag over the face to increase carbon dioxide and ease spasm.
