Six Seek Board Seats to Aid Lorain Schools
Lorain voters will choose two school board members from six candidates after Lorain High School closed and debt rose to 10.4 million. Incumbents Kenneth W. Kramer and Ann Mensendiek Jensen face challengers Neil Sommer s Jeanine Donaldson Basilone and Margo Ketchum. Figures debate levy renewals and possible earmarked funds while noting tough public support and the need for unity on a district strained by closures.
