Seven Boy Scout troops from Elyria Grafton Oberlin and the county south end camped at Wellington Scout Reservation from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. Scoutmasters and Scouts slept in tents and cooked at the camp cook house under A J Dublo’s supervision. The event aimed to teach axemanship knot tying fire building ropes and lash signalling camp layout first aid and map making among others. Large turnout marked the camping project. Miss Janet Olsen, nurse and daughter of Mr and Mrs K J Olsen, is set to return home November 10.
