Hundred Club's Monday Meeting at Mrs Lewis Home
Mrs George Lewis will host the Hundred Club next Monday afternoon at her Fourth Street residence. The Neitintey Parents and Teachers Association plans a session at Mrs Basinger's Eastern Heights home on Monday November at 2 pm. Masquerade and two ghosts greeted guests at the door. Cards were passed later. a “worder pie” with many favors was cut during refreshments. Mrs B J Whitney and Mrs B I Bastian hosted and entertained Oberlin’s Narelasi clan at a 9 pm lunch on Thursday. eleven guests attended.

Halloween Parties Fill City With Festive Cheer
Miss Alice Flemes hosted a Halloween party for twenty two friends with music dancing and refreshments. A surprise party honored Mr and Mrs Gus Elbert at East avenue with twenty one guests. Miss Alma Pitts from Montreal was a guest. A gathering at 115 Cornell Avenue celebrated Memorial hospital nurses class of 1914 with dining and dancing. Other guests included Memorial staff members and out of town visitors. St Pauls Church notes announce communion and German services with a postponed Congregational meeting to Nov 9. Local educators Vaughn and Fox toured Toledo high schools. The 95 club and Unity club met with hosts Mrs Winters and Mrs Wilbert hosted Halloween gatherings. The B99 Card club hosted a unique attic Halloween party with corn stalks, lights and jack o lantern decor.

The First Congregational church invites SHU'D-IN members to attend via church transport next Sunday. November will be titled Get Acquired Month, October aimed Loyalty 3 Month, and the aim is to aid elderly and disabled members. Lorain man John Glantz aged 41 of 124 Hamilton avenue died in a car crash into a Lake Shore Electric flat car. Confectioner Frank Kloth, 41 of 120 BE 21st street, was badly injured and was taken to St Joseph's Hospital.
