Second man arrested in shooting at Oberlin residence
In Oberlin, Morris Alexander 29 was arrested Oct. 22 near Cleveland on aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and felonious assault charges after a Oct. 11 incident at a North Main Street home where three men fought over fueling a vehicle. An alleged accomplice, Andrew Davison 27 of Lorain, was jailed on multiple robbery, assault and weapons counts. Victims include Rodney Cannon Sr. and Isaac Long, the latter hospitalized with a gunshot wound. Long is Davison’s cousin’s husband. Authorities await tests on heroin and Davison’s blood.

Police shoot pipe wielding suspect in Toledo
Toledo police say a man suspected of stabbing his mother was shot and killed after he attacked officers with two or three long pipes while shielding himself with a trash can lid.
