Green Party disavows Kucinich endorsement in New Hampshire
New Hampshire Green Party members endorsed Dennis Kucinich in the Democratic presidential race, but the national Green Party disavowed the move saying those six state activists are not affiliated. The party stressed NH is not a functioning state Green, and the national convention in Bilwaukee in June will choose its own 2004 candidate. Richard Hendrick of the Kucinich campaign noted the NH endorsement was not an official arm of the national party. The national party previously nominated Ralph Nader in 2000 and remains focused on peace and environmental issues.

Abortion Debate Heats Up Amid Federal Ban Move
NARAL prepares a TV ad targeting President Bush after Congress passes a measure banning the procedure. The spot features a doctor's office and a door, arguing the law criminalizes safe medical care and endangers women. Gephardt and Kucinich have opposed the ban, while other rivals join. Al Sharpton’s campaign did not comment. Howard Dean argues the bill chills medicine and erodes reproductive rights.
