Ghost investigator links Bailey Lakes omens to real deaths
Oscard warned of trouble along a Bailey Lakes road in 1994 and months later a deputy was killed nearby while a later incident saw a man shoot himself near the same site. In Olmsted Falls, she doubted a witch was buried in Chestnut Grove Cemetery and suggested the grave may be a pauper’s field. She noted haunted locations and described the graveyard as a mix of troubled souls and peaceful, tree guarded scenes. Her book Ghosts of the Self is sold locally by Hermit Publications in Dayton.
