William Nemec a 12 year old Chronicle Telegram carrier from 576 Cleveland street was struck while crossing Cleveland street near Edgewood. He told an ambulance crew to have a friend finish the deliveries. He is treated at Elyria Memorial Hospital with a head cut and bruises. The driver Elmer Ruecke of 36525 Center Ridge road said he noticed the boy crossing and the dent in the cars left front grill confirms contact. Nemec's condition is reported as good.
