Rescue Three Fishermen From Lake Near Toledo

Three Toledo fishermen Leonard Drayton Norman Drayton and Charles Suzilicki were rescued after drifting about 24 hours in a disabled 40 foot motorboat on Lake Erie. They left Toledo for grounds near West Sister Island and were found cold and hungry by another fishing vessel after Coast Guard and company efforts.

Davey Defends Move Of Four Tons Of Addressograph Plates

Gov. Martin L. Davey issued a formal statement defending the removal of four tons of state addressograph plates from Columbus to Cleveland. He said the plates were not stolen and would be returned unharmed, with no state employees or trucks used.
