Sheffield Township reports show two state house battles nearing six figures in outside funds. Republican Dick Stein and incumbent Nathan Manning each top six figures in total support from GOP donors and in kind contributions. Manning has spent ninety nine thousand five hundred sixty seven dollars from his campaign and reports one hundred nine thousand three hundred seventeen in kind. Mencke trails with minimal direct spending as a late entrant. Stein has benefited from about one hundred thirty four thousand four hundred sixty four dollars in in kind support as he campaigns for the House.

Phyllis Frazier Nacey, a Lorain County retailer, opened Ontario's store on a Sunday in 1961 to challenge Ohio blue law. North Ridgeville man Randy Hamilton was arrested after police said he was intoxicated at the scene of his girlfriend Michelle Ryals death in Elyria. Lt.
