Ohio convention highlights feature noted speakers in Canton

Miss Patricia Mason attended the Ohio Newspaper Wantons Age Aa convention in Canton weekend. Elizabeth Kardus Ann Landers and Melba Grimes Marilett were featured speakers at the conclave which opened Friday night. LuElla Kep ler and Jean Weaver of Lorain attended. Eahe Jones, Latin teacher at Elynn High School, participated in the annual meeting of the Ohio Classical Conference at the Southern Hotel Columbus. The conference is affiliated with the Ohio Education Association.

Barberton mayor urges political leaders amid world crisis

Barberton's Democratic event featured Mayor Catherine R. Dobbs and local officials addressing the need for dedicated leaders.
