Clevelander on Trial for Manslaughter

Franklin R Gribben of Cleveland faced a manslaughter charge in the Court of Common Pleas this morning. He allegedly ran down Caroline Pasnow, the late daughter of Mr and Mrs William Gribben, at the Oberlin Road when his big White truck struck a Ford occupied by the girl and her parents. The State contends the crash resulted from criminal carelessness on Gribben's part.

Blind Soldier"s Death Reported in Hearne Funeral Plans

Russell Graham aged 78 died after being found at the Soldiers Home in Sanctuary. The body was brought to Hearne by ambulance and will lie in state at Hearne funeral parlors until tomorrow when funeral arrangements will be made at Dodes.
