Jim Donovan, 68, longtime WKYC sports director and Browns play by play announcer, died after a battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The Haslams called it an incredibly difficult day, noting his 25 years as the Voice of the Browns and his iconic calls such as Run, William, run.

Amherst Township approves 4.8 million for Sandstone Parkway link
Lorain County commissioners awarded a 4.8419 million contract to Fechko Excavating of Medina to construct 3,400 feet of new highway linking Sandstone Parkway with Route 58 in Amherst Township. The project includes sewers, water lines, and Route 58/Oberlin Road upgrades, funded by 2023 TIF agreements. Completion is targeted by July 1, 2025.
