Prospects Good for Elyria City Hall Federal Funding
Elyria officials expressed optimism about securing full federal funding for a new five story city hall on Court Street with adjoining shops and a 400 car parking deck. A preliminary $2.75 million cost was cited with potential for extra floors to meet 1973 space needs. The plan envisions one roof for all departments, and private or public-private ownership for the deck and shops.
