Duffer dog Fritz Serves Up Golf Course Antics
Four year old German Pointer Fritz nicknamed Duffer dog enjoys daily golf at Echo Valley Golf Club on Quarry Road. He retrieves balls from the creek, lays behind tees to dodge misdirected shots, and sneaks biscuits from favored players. His stage career began after Keith Sugaski saved him from a suspected weak blood line and cured a skin disease. Del Donahoo featured Fritz on national TV, drawing visitors from coast to coast to see the canine golfer. Fritz lives with the Sugaskis at Peck Wadsworth Road, and his handlers say he accompanies golfers throughout rounds.
