Milan unveiled a 389000 high school addition featuring 12 new classrooms including chemistry and physics rooms, an industrial arts shop, agriculture, home economics, library with listening room, and modernized cafeterias. Principal Joseph Steele noted minimal new equipment, with a flexible two-line cafeteria plan and a six clock system for separate schedules. Women Pack Clothing For Mission At Combined Church Meeting
The First Congregational Church women’s groups from Delmo Community Indian Mission held combined daytime and evening sessions at Fellowship Hall. They packed twelve bones of clothing and other materials for the mission, with a lunch session and work on used clothing. Mrs James Sanford led the circle session, Mrs Chester Wood directed devotions, and Mrs Earl Egglish led the evening devotional.
