Storage Space Sought For County Apples
County agricultural agent C. Mumemel reports near 309000 bushels of Lorain County apples will need cold storage. Henriet ta and Amherst likely hold only 20000 bushels, while many growers ship to Cleveland or store on their own. Some varieties require cold storage to stay fresh, prompting concern among growers.
