Guys and Gals Plan Halloween Masquerade at YWCA

Plans for the Guys and Gals Club Halloween masquerade ball at YWCA Holly Hall are set for Tuesday from 9 to midnight with costumes required. Decorations by Chuck Radyk and helpers include cornstalks pumpkins hay bales and a possible black cat. Miss Urban and Pfc. Johnson Wed at Monroe Church

Miss Susan Elizabeth Urban and Pfc. Albert G. Johnson wed at First Presbyterian Church in Monroe Michigan at 3 30 p m October 13 The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas J Urban of Lorain Ohio and the groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Wade Johnson of Ford Road The ceremony was conducted by Dr Wilfred E Simpson The bride wore a nylon taffeta wedding gown in cyclamen pink with a lace bodice and V back The gored skirt reached ballerina length She wore a white hat with suede accessories and carried pink roses and white carnations They honeymooned in northern Michigan The bride is a 1954 Lorain High School graduate and a National Pharmacy secretary The groom is a 1954 Brookside High School graduate and is stationed with the U S Army at Fort Knox Kentucky

KYW Road Show Draws About 300 at Allen School

About 300 people attended the KYW Road Show last night in Allen School Auditorium. Twenty acts displayed variety talent from youngsters and adults aged 6 to 55 including singers, dancers, comedians, instrumentalists, and novelty acts. Notables in the cast include John and Jim Becker and Dusty Edmunds as part of a 100-plus performer roster. The PTA sponsored the event under the motto To Help Communities Help Themselves.

WSCS Plans Quiet Day Service at Wesley House
