Columbia Woman and Cleveland Man Die in Weekend Traffic

A Columbia Station woman Mrs Evelyn Reisinger 45 and a Cleveland man Murray Howard 62 died in separate weekend traffic crashes. Reisinger was killed when a Checker Cab driven by Clyde C Wilkins Jr 28 struck the car being pushed by Dolly Bronston 41 as Roscoe Winters rode beside it. Howard died at Elyria Memorial Hospital after a collision involving a car driven by Robert Abernethy 20 of Bedford and another vehicle. The accidents occurred on West River Street and nearby routes with multiple injuries reported including Mrs Ada Fields 44 and Carl McDougal 34. The cab driver Wilkins faced a citation for failure to have his car under control.
