Disney releases the third installment aimed at tweens in its latest franchise, debuting in theaters today with continued adventures and familiar characters drawing younger audiences to cinemas.
Lisa Roberson reports a blockbuster musical extravaganza as Disney’s High School Musical 3 follows Troy and Gabriella through their senior year. The Wildcats face a basketball championship prom and spring musical while college dreams test their relationship.

Two Midview High School students William Krakora 17 and Richard Curran Jr. 16 died when Krakora lost control of a 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 swerved off West Road and hit a Norway spruce tree. Both from Grafton they were not wearing seat belts and died instantly. Curran's family described him as energetic and fun loving. he was to be buried on his 17th birthday.
