Spencer Garden Club Opens Year With Slides and Guest
Spencer Garden Club began its year with a program featuring slides of wild flowers and autumn paintings. James Bailey received an invitation to meet with the Sullivan Club. District meeting details were announced as November 15 in Shreve. Lt Bruce Walters left for 12 weeks of flight training in California. Mrs Walters and daughter stayed with relatives in Great Falls. Local social notes include visits by S J Kling from Chicago and family events involving the Bowens and Bowen relatives. A stork shower for Delores Estep was hosted by Anna Giar with Beverly Hall and Gypsy Pervier assisting.
