Ohio faces frost tonight after a fast moving cold front dropped temperatures into the 40s with a 20 degree fall since Sunday. Wind driven showers and gusts up to 49 mph lash the state as Cleveland reports heavy rain even as the cold wave moves eastward toward Ohio’s interior.

John Paul Berger 21 of Elyria indicted for first degree murder in the stabbing of girlfriend Elizabeth Duncan 21 on Aug 6. Found sane after examination at Lima State Hospital. In Cleveland Raymond Everhart, called the nervous gunman, faces a jury over the War rant Officer Sullivan shooting during the St Patrick's Day armory robbery. Everhart, of Akron, is charged with armed robbery and shooting, pleading innocent. Teller is noted to have later received a 25 year term for a separate $23,000 bank robbery.

A Soo 000 fire swept through the Nateo Corp plant in East Canton near Canton Ohio early today. Firemen from six communities battled the blaze that broke out about 2:20 AM. No further details on casualties or exact cause were provided.
