Elyriang Have Narrow Escape From Train Collision
Dr W E Hart of 514 Second street narrowly escaped serious injury when a Baltimore and Ohio locomotive struck the front of the car he rode in at Sullivan crossing. His son Elmer N Hart, driver of the car, dis located his shoulder. They were returning from Lebanon Ohio to celebrate the doctor 70th birthday. Elmer leaped from the car as the train approached and warned his father. The car was hurled from the tracks and swung around by the impact, but Elmer was unhurt. The dislocated shoulder was set by Dr Marquett of Nova Ohio. They were brought home by James Renouard of 629 Lodi street.
