New York expands Farmworker Housing Program benefits
Albany expands the Farmworker Housing Program to include year round dairy and other farmers. The program offers low cost loans up to 100000 to build housing for workers, aiding farms like Paul Zittel’s 180 acre Eden operation. Statewide about 80000 farm workers are in New York with 37000 farms.
