Farm accident claims Berlin Heights man
Charles Elmer Wasem a 33 year old Berlin Heights farmer was killed when a corn picker he was repairing toppled onto him about 11 am. His body was found by son Richard 13 around 3:30 pm. The Erie County coroner ruled the death accidental. Survivors include son Richard daughter Judy Green brother Pam and sister Lucille Hoffmann. Funeral arrangements set with Hinman Funeral Home and services to be held Saturday.
